Please be aware that the number of available MAP Grants is limited by funding levels approved by the Illinois General Assembly and the Governor and reductions to estimated or actual MAP Grants are possible. Awards for students with less than 15 credit hours per semester will be pro-rated. Short term loans become available.

2021-2022 awards vary from 300 to 5496. UIC will not cover shortfalls due to reduced MAP Grant funding. MAP grants pay a portion of tuition and mandatory fees.
